Jeff's Question.

Kimotion said... I heard that nine of the top ten most poisonous snakes in the world are found in Australia. Is that true?

I'm pretty sure thats right. The most common snake where I live is the brown snake which I think is ranked second in the top ten. We had a close call with one and my dog about 5 months back when she dug one up. Luckily it was very cold and snake was to out of it to bite her before she could be dragged off.
I'll admit one of my favourite pass times when travelling os in trying to freak people out telling them about all the dangerous creepy crawlies, reptiles ect that we have over here but the truth is it's really not that bad as most of them will do anything to avoid ever running into you and unlike your mountain lions we have an antidote for most things...... well except crocs and sharks : )
I might be bias cause I've always had a bit of an interest in animals but I think it's just so cool to be surrounded by such interesting animals, although I would be very happy with a few less spiders in the house cause they really freak me out!!

Also checked out your blog, awesome stuff!! Good luck with next term it must be so cool pioneering the way for the rest of us : )

I was watching the news last night when I heard a interesting report. In Australia 70% of the cases that turn up at the emergency room are caused by alcohol and 10 people die every day from alcohol induced injuries!! Also New Years day is the biggest day for domestic violence from pissed guys going home after the celebrations and beating up on their wives and girlfriends.
Wow I'm so glad binge drinking and alcoholism are an integral part of our culture because it would be a damn shame to see billions of dollars in medical resources go to something worth while.

Final Q and A

Yesterday was our final Q and A with Mat which ran for a whooping 2 hours 20 minutes and it was a really good end to the term. After we retouched on hip rotation and a few other things and then Mat took a look at our terms work and gave us an overall evaluation of how we where going and what areas we needed to do a bit more work on. I was happy to find that we where in agreement on my current issues. I've found things a lot more difficult since we started working with balli but I think some more practice will have me feeling alto more comfortable. Speaking of which, I should probably get back into it.

Back Blogging

Posted by Picasa After month or so of no blogging I've decided to take it up again. Mainly by request of one out of town stalker who just can't deal with not knowing what I'm up to (you know who you are). Doubly good is that I've finally figured out how to post my pics and hopefully video so you can all finally see my work which will be the main focus of this blog. But with Christmas so close I thought this would be a good opening photo for my glorious blogging return. Our dog honey was much more irritated about wearing antlers then she looked but behind the camera we where bribing her with food.
